New York Magazine’s 03 Nov issue is easily a contender for cover of the year: a startlingly expansive shot of Manhattan last week, in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The shot, taken by Dutch photographer Iwan Baan, captures the eerie darkness that cloaked downtown Manhattan, which went without power most of the week.
