Simple, elegant, browser-based tool for viewing front pages (the printed ones) from newspapers around the world.
I’ve had a really simple PHP page for about two years now that displays the large JPEGs of the front pages of the dozen papers I care about, linked to the PDFs, courtesy of the Newseum folks. Comes up in moments.
Great for my first slurp of coffee in the morning…that is, of course, while these fine news organizations are still…uh…organized.
(The PHP-ness is of course, the date calculation that brings up the appropriate URL.)
